MT Essentials is able to communicate with our other products such as Alkatronic, Dosetronic, Powertronic (smart power strip) and Solartronic (patented dynamic lighting fixture).
With the success of Mastertronic (version 1), Focustronic’s all-in-one auto tester which could test 10 parameters such as dKH, Ca, Mg, NO2, NO3, PO4, Iodine, Fe, NH4, OLI and the ability to control all these together with lighting intensity via Solartronic, they have now brought out the Mastertronic Essentials aka MTE which tests 6 parameters: dKH, Ca, Mg, NO3, PO4 and OLI (water clarity). Individual MTE Reagents are sold separately. This allows the best possible automation based on live data to make reefing as simple as possible.
Mastertronic (MT) allowed us to understand the needs of most aquarists, including freshwater users. We took the extra step and will be expanding our product line with the New Mastertronic
Essential (MTE) while Mastertronic (MT) will continue to serve new and experienced users who require the full range of testing with a single unit. Here are the highlights of New Mastertronic Essential:
1. Proprietary pipette design with 12 independent nozzles
2. True All in one design with no parts being external including reagents
3. High accuracy specification (the only one that has released this data)
4. 2 hose connection with only 1 calibration required

Feature Highlights:
• Ability to auto adjust Ca and Mg dosing levels in Dosetronic (sometimes even balanced dosing will require adjustments, every system is different)
• MTE will pass test data to Solartronic and user can select auto intensity adjustment based on either PO4 or NO3. This will be a unique feature in our product range and not available with any other lighting brands.
• With Powertronic it can be set to include features to trigger on/off or even timer for the sockets. For example algae reactor light, currently running 12 hours.
If nutrients (ie:PO4) gets too low, reduce by 10% to 11 hours).
• For ULNS, dosing PO4 and NO3 can also be regulated via Dosetronic.
Product Warranty
Each unit of Mastertronic Essential carries a limited factory warranty for 12 months upon registration. The online registration must be done within 14 days after purchase in order to be deemed valid. FOCUSTRONIC will also send updated information such as firmware updates or new features information via the registered email account. Product warranty is non transferrable. Mastertronic may not be exposed directly to water and is not to be placed in humid conditions so that visible condensation is present in or on the machine. Failure to prevent the Mastertronic to humidity exposure may void the factory warranty.
