This Pavona maldivensis grows in funky club shapes and has green mouths! Over time as we have grown out this strain in captivity long term, we have observed the corallites to grow tighter in higher light and more spaced out in moderate to low light. The Green mouth is far more obvious when grown in lower lighting. While it seems to lay down encrusting skeleton and tissue at a standard growth rate, when considering that the goal is to see club shape growth form, it is relatively slow growing.
